Our planet is irreplaceable, and we must take greater action for its future. Our mission is to enhance the local environment, minimise our ecological footprint, and support the Powerlete community in making positive changes as well.
We are a united community, spanning from our supply chain to the squat rack. Our objectives are to uphold human rights, ensure safe working conditions, provide fair wages for all workers, and maintain transparency about the factories we utilise.
Rather than following the traditional take-make-dispose model, we aim to prolong our products' lifespan and minimise waste. Our objectives include enhancing product durability, decreasing dependency on fossil fuels and water, and boosting the recyclability of our products.
We don't just care about the end product. We care about the process. Every factory we work with is independently audited to meet globally recognised social and environmental standards. That means fair labour, safe working conditions, and lower environmental impact. No exceptions.
We work with organisations like Sedex, BSCI, SMETA, GRS, OCS, OEKO-TEX and SLCP to make sure the standards aren't just met, they're maintained.
At Powerlete, ethical production isn't a buzzword. It's a baseline. We know modern slavery, forced labour and human trafficking are real issues in global manufacturing. We're committed to keeping our supply chain clean, fair and built on respect.
We also look for factory partners that actively invest in their people, not just production.
We're proud of the progress. And we're just getting started.
Sustainability isn't a checkbox, it's an ongoing commitment. We're making smart moves, some big, some small, to lower our impact and raise our standards.
One of our key focuses is sourcing better materials, like organic cotton and recycled fabrics. And every production sample from our head office gets donated, never wasted.
Right from the point Powerlete was founded in 2020, we introduced recycled yarns. We're phasing in organic cotton and recycled materials wherever possible.
